At ClipRack, we value your privacy and provide full control over your personal data, including the ability to delete your account at any time.

  • Migration state (for data sync management)

Content You Create

We store the clips and content you save, including:

  • Clip titles, descriptions, and URLs

  • Organization preferences and settings
  • Media metadata (video IDs, usernames, etc.)

Technical Information

We collect minimal technical data necessary for app functionality:

  • Device ID (for local storage management)
  • Authentication tokens (stored securely in device keychain)
  • Sync timestamps (for data synchronization)
  • App state information (local/cloud/hybrid mode)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the ClipRack service
  • Sync your clips across devices (premium users)
  • Process subscription payments through RevenueCat
  • Manage user states (free, premium, hybrid)
  • Provide customer support
  • Improve app performance and features

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using a hybrid approach:

  • Local Storage: All clips are stored locally on your device using MMKV (encrypted storage)
  • Cloud Storage: Premium users' data is synced to Supabase cloud servers
  • Authentication: Login tokens stored securely in iOS Keychain/Android Keystore
  • Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Access Control: Only you can access your clips and data

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

  • When required by law
  • To protect our rights and safety
  • With your explicit consent

5. Third-Party Services

We use these services to provide ClipRack:

  • Supabase: For user authentication and cloud database storage
  • RevenueCat: For subscription management and payment processing
  • Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases
  • Expo: For app development and deployment

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

  • Free Users: Data stored locally only, deleted when app is uninstalled
  • Premium Users: Data synced to cloud, retained while account is active
  • Account Deletion: When you delete your account from within the app, all personal data and cloud-synced clips are permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.
  • Local Data: Stored on your device until manually deleted or the app is uninstalled

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data (view all clips and categories)
  • Delete your account and personal data at any time from within the app settings
  • Export your clips (premium feature)
  • Update your information
  • Opt out of cloud sync (use local-only mode)

8. Children's Privacy

ClipRack is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we become aware that a child under 13 has created an account, we will take reasonable steps to delete the account and any associated personal data.
